PDO Threads
Polydioxanone (PDO) is a safe biodegradable, crystalline, colorless synthetic polymer that has been utilized to make absorbable suture materials for many years. PDO threads are widely used in aesthetic medicine to delicately reposition the skin and stimulate new collagen (neocollagenesis). Your body recognizes the thread as foreign and increases collagen production, which results in the improvement of your skin condition. PDO threads are inserted into the skin, and within a few months they are completely absorbed, but your new collagen and beautifully reshaped appearance lasts for up to 12 months. There are lifting threads, smooth threads, and twist threads. Results:
The type of result depends upon the type of thread used. Immediate results are visible with PDO lifting threads. Smooth and twist threads serve to build collagen over time and visible improvement may be seen to their full potential between 3 and 6 months after insertion.

Recovery Time & Side Effects:
Vigorous exercise is not recommended for up to 48 hours after PDO thread placement. A mild risk of infection exists, as with any injectable, but keeping the area clean and dry will promote the proper healing process.
