Permanent Cosmetics & Microblading

Permanent Cosmetics

Micropigmentation is a safe, sterile process where natural pigment is implanted below the surface of the skin. This modern twist on an age old art provides a safe and natural looking alternative for eyebrow, eyeliner and lip liner/full lip color applications that can last for years.

Permanent Makeup is beneficial because it is time saving and helps those who have oily skin, which tends to shed conventional cosmetics. It also provides an alternative to those who have allergies to conventional cosmetics, visual impairments, contact lenses, unsteady/arthritic hands or other difficulty applying makeup.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is cosmetic tattooing for the eyebrows, also referred to as semi-permanent makeup or micropigmentation. It is the process of implanting color pigment beneath the surface of the skin by means of tiny, sterile, disposable needles to produce the appearance of hair strokes. Strokes look like individual hairs and Microblading creates the most realistic brows of any method.

What is the difference between this and standard body tattooing?

Cosmetic tattooing is softer and more subtle. It is meant to be a natural-looking enhancement. Body tattoos use ink while cosmetic tattoo procedures involve pigments. These pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is desired as it allows the artist to make changes to color and shape over the years as natural coloration and facial changes occur.
