RF Microneedling
Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling: Radiofrequency microneedling allows insulated needles to enter the skin in a pattern that delivers RF energy to the deep dermis without causing damage to the epidermis. When RF thermal energy is applied strategically through microneedling, fractional electrocoagulation in the dermis occurs and a natural wound healing process begins. This promotes the remodeling of collagen, elastin, and wound contraction. Your treatment provider will select and apply important nutrients to your skin’s surface prior to the start of your treatment. During the RF microneedling process, the nutrients are pushed down into the channels created by your treatment provider for precise delivery and maximum benefits. These micro-channels that are created during your RF microneedling treatment can remain open for up to 6 hours after your treatment. When prepared and applied strategically, following appropriate protocols, RF microneedling has demonstrated the highest level of potential skin benefits when combined with Natural Growth Factor Injections. When combined with Natural Growth Factor Injections, a series of 3 sessions is strongly recommended.
Results:
Results from RF microneedling sessions are noticeable after your first treatment session, particularly in the tightness of your skin, and results continue to improve even more after your second RF microneedling session. Results are at maximum benefit at around 90 days after the last treatment session. It is recommended that a series of 3 treatments, one session every 4 to 6 weeks is done initially, followed by only elective maintenance sessions. Recovery Time & Side Effects:
RF microneedling requires little to no downtime, However, some patients may experience temporary redness, dryness, or mild swelling for a day or two after their treatment session. A mild risk of infection exists, as with any injectable, but keeping the area clean and dry will promote the proper healing process and avoid any such complications.
